Olive branch: A symbol of peace throughout the world. According to Jewish and Christian traditions, the olive branch spoke to Noah of God's grace after the flood. In Islam, the "blessed tree" of the olive, bearing gift of oil and fruit, brings light to the spirit and to the world.

Quill: In Islam, the quill is thought to have been created from light one thousand years before God created anything else.

Morel Mushroom: Attempts to cultivate the morel mushroom have proven nearly impossible. Intense and deep flavors seem only to be found in wild, hand harvested varieties. In springtime, independent hunters and amateur foragers sweep forest floors for these spongy fungi.
