Designed and produced by Akomena Spazio Mosaico, 2001, for Dilmos edizioni, Italy. Francesca Fabbri and Giuliano Babini founded Akomena Spazio Mosaico in 1988, as a multidisciplinary mosaic studio. Located near Ravenna, Italy, a city which possesses the world’s richest examples of Byzantine era mosaics, Akomena works with designers and artists from all fields, including Ettore Sottsass, Ugo La Pietra, Mattia Bonetti & Elizabeth Garouste.
