notes:
Selective Laser Sintering is a process of creating "rapid prototypes", allowing one to "print" three-dimensional structures from a CAD computer model. The computer model is sliced into very thin layers, and each layer is created through the use of a laser, which fuses together the chosen material, which is originally in a powder form. After each layer is hardened, it is lowered down one thickness and a new layer of the powdered material is rolled out to be traced on the surface. Upon completion, the physical model replicates the CAD computer model to the finest detail.
