Towards the end of the thirties, a new development under the guidance of Carlo Scarpa saw the start of the production of works in which incised decoration was a determining factor. The techniques that were developed are "Battuto", "Valato" and "Inciso". The first examples of these techniques revealed themselves in vases with deeply incised decoration, mostly highly-worked one-offs of which all trace has been lost. price: $6,720.00
