Ashwood burnt and finished with an epoxy resin and a polyurethane lacquer with UV-filter, and upholstered in fabric composed of raw silk, Merino wool, and silk chiffon, created by Claudy Jongstra.

notes:
Designed by Charles R. Mackintosh in 1918 and manufactured by Cassina, Italy, this now unique piece is signed “BAAS” with a metal identification plaque printed and embossed with the following text: ‘Where There’s Smoke, created by Maarten Baas for Moss NY, 01/12/05, unique piece’, and also bearing the label ‘Moooi’.

This piece has sold and will not be produced again.
