notes:
The Delft in Detail exhibit held at the Gemeentemuseum in the Hague was curated by Jongerius. The exhibit included the museum's collection of ancient Delft pieces (traditional Dutch porcelain) and contemporary multiples by young designers inspired by this heritage. Jongerius contributed her own work by introducing the Delft tradition to her already classic handmade service, “b-service”. She has included the traditional hand painted patterns borrowed from the ancient classics. These exceptional pieces are the first of a very small production which is limited to 15 pieces of each design.
