Utilizing technology developed during space research, the CeraStar ceramic knives are produced using an entirely new injection method process. The blade material is ceramic making these knives permanently sharp, stainless, hygienic, odorless, extremely light and dishwasher safe. The ceramic is an extremely dense, hard compound which has been stabilized against breaking and chipping. The same precautions should be taken as with conventional knives in order to ensure prolonged use.
