Originally created for Droog Design, the Jongerius B-service turns imperfection into ornament. Production "errors" are there by accident or on purpose - it's hard to know. The parts do not match and the stack of plates is very unstable. The cohesion comes from the consistent imperfection. The recipes for the porcelain and the glazes which have been stamped onto the various parts create a link, too.”
