GUIDED TOURS

Although Moss is proud and honored to be considered an "institution" by much of
our audience, we are, in fact, a commercial venue, and, regrettably, can no
longer accommodate the dramatic increase in random student group visits
that we are experiencing. Effective April 1, we will no longer encourage
such visits. While we continue to welcome students, individually, a proliferation of group visits has become disruptive to the ongoing business of the gallery. Aside from the inconvenience, these visits are also frustrating, as we believe a more structured, detailed guided tour, with an exchange of ideas, would be much more informative and closer to the educational agenda we imagine is desired. Therefore, in an effort to make visits to the gallery more productive and truly educational, we now offer the opportunity for educational institutions, as well as design industry groups, industrial collectives, retail units, collector groups, museum groups, etc., to arrange for proper guided tours with founder and curator Murray Moss, allowing for full explanations of the work currently on view, including a discussion of emerging trends, designer profiles, etc. Such tours must be scheduled in advance and are offered on a fee basis, based on size of group and length of tour.
