Summer Eleven: The return of the Blossom

The big news of Summer '11 at Moss is not how hot it is outside the store or even the passage of gay marriage legislation in New York state or the construction scaffolding out front. It's the happy return of the Crystal Palace Blossom chandelier to prominent display. Yes, Tord Boontje's Blossom is back, and with the Swarovski crystals and twinkling LED's, more beautiful than ever. Also now finally available with UL certification is the Light Sock by Liz Diller. We're happy to be working more closely again with the Swarovski Crystal Palace collection. About which you can read all about in the Crystal Palace book, launched at Moss in November 2010.

The other hot news this summer is the Marc Newson designed TREK racing bike ridden by Lance Armstrong in the Tour de France. Limited to 10 pieces, this carbon fiber beauty weights just about nothing and has as serious a provenance as any bike ever made.

Returns by popular favorites include the scale model of the Titanic, the white leather SofA from Edra, and a whole range of long time missing small Danese products, like the In Attessa and the Flores boxes.
