Art Basel, Miami Beach, 2006 During Art Basel Miami Beach, Moss Gallery presented an installation of specially commissioned, monumental pieces from eight key contemporary designers, drawing directly from one-off or limited-edition studio work. In this work, these Studios violate the classical boundaries drawn between 'art' and 'design' and in so doing, expand the definition of both. Featured in this exhibition was work from Massimiliano Adami, Maarten Baas, Tord Boontje, Constantin Boym, Fernando and Humberto Campana, Michele de Lucchi, Studio Job, and Hella Jongerius. Also included was industrial art by Philippe Starck for Flos and Guido Crepax for Ennezero. |
