Part domestic utility, part heroic sculpture, these precious hand-wrought common household objects (including fully-functional cooking pots, stools, lantern and coal bin) are magnified to exalted proportions, rendered in polished bronze, and placed upon aged wooden pedestals. Each piece in the collection has been offered in a limited edition of five, exclusive to Moss. Several pieces are still available, and in addition, the Collection is available as a full set. HOMEWORK premiered at the Salone del Mobile in Milan April 2007. Its US premiere was at Moss in New York in May 2007, and it also was shown at Design Basel in Switzerland June 2008. The launch of HOMEWORK in LA also includes the introduction of the WRONGWOODS collection by Richard Woods and Sebastian Wrong, and the CRATE series by Jasper Morrison, all for Established & Sons, and the HONEYCOMB VASE by Tomáš Gabzdil Libertiny. HOMEWORK will be on display until December 31.
