presented in collaboration with Kate Werble Gallery, New York where his solo installation, High Fructose Corn Syrup, is on view through April 10.
Each stool is signed by the artist and each has been created in one of the following ways:
American artist Christopher Chiappa (born 1970) obtained his BA from Middlebury College, Vermont, in 1993, continuing his studies by attending the intensive residency program at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, Maine, in 1997. His work has been shown numerous times in group and solo exhibitions, most recently at the Art Los Angeles Contemporary international art fair (January 2010) and at the Kate Werble Gallery solo exhibition High Fructose Corn Syrup (March 2010). Chiappa lives and works in New York City.
